PropelSMB LAUNCH™

You Invested or You Raised the Capital. Now You Have to Prove What Works.

You identified a problem worth solving. Built something people believe in. Found early validation. Convinced yourself or investors that the opportunity is real.

Now you have capital, expectations, and a limited amount of time to turn that promise into meaningful commercial traction.

This is where selling gets real. At this stage, you probably don't need a VP of Sales. You probably don't need a team of SDRs. You don't need a sophisticated CRM, an elaborate sales playbook or layers of sales infrastructure.

The founders just need to sell. But founder-led selling can't mean random activity.

The Goal Isn't to Look Like a Mature Sales Organization.

It's to learn how your company sells. Your earliest sales conversations are doing much more than building a pipeline. They help you understand your market and gather all sorts of data about your market.

But it’s not that easy. There are a suddenly a lot of things you could do.

Run ads. Hire an agency. Attend conferences. Build outbound campaigns. Buy sales technology. Pursue partnerships. Hire your first salesperson. Spend more on marketing.

Each might eventually be the right answer.

But right now, the most important question is which activities are actually producing evidence that your GTM motion can work. Because activity isn't the same as traction.

Don't Scale Assumptions. Validate them.

Stay Scrappy. But Get Disciplined.

Early-stage selling should still be fast and flexible, yet intentional.

The goal isn't predictability yet. It's evidence.

And eventually, evidence that the motion is ready for someone other than the founders to execute.

PropelSMB LAUNCH™ works alongside early-stage founders to bring focus and discipline to founder-led selling—without adding unnecessary complexity.
